Who we are
Years of service in the industry
For over 80 years, we have been serving our customers with courtesy and professionalism, offering comprehensive and personalized service for every need.
Accurate performance that allows us at Nuova Lunelli to be a top-notch mechanical workshop, specializing in the refurbishment and maintenance of classic car engines in Modena, historic cars and beyond, always guaranteeing extreme attention to detail.
Foundation
Founded as Lunelli & Tarabusi, named after the two founding partners, it initially specialized only in engine overhaul, setting itself up as an almost unique reality among the panorama of mechanical workshops at the time, already having various specific facilities and equipment.
Development
Nuova Lunelli
In 1986, the transformation to Nuova Lunelli took place, which saw the machine shop run with several owner-partners and a few white-collar employees.
A development that did not disrupt the work in the workshop, but instead consolidated the plant as an international benchmark, especially keeping even some of the machinery of the time in operation.
Today
Experience and passion, but also the fundamental use of some specific machinery, such as the planetary grinding machine: already part of the workshop's primitive equipment in the 1930s and still regularly used today because, in fact, it is irreplaceable for certain specific work on vintage engines.

Development
Soon after the war, the Modena machine shop also began to deal with conversions and, above all, to try its hand at the sports engines of the most fashionable car manufacturers, such as Osca, Alfa Romeo, Maserati and Ferrari.
